Token Utility

BLSK serves as the primary governance token for the Basilisk protocol. By staking BLSK in the Basilisk Safety Cave, it provides support for the protocol during any potential shortfall events. Additionally, BLSK can be delegated to an ERC-20 address, enabling participation in Basilisk's governance processes.

Please be aware that additional utilities for BLSK will be introduced in the future. One such utility is set to be implemented in Basilisk V2 in the upcoming months. This feature will enable you to receive BLSK emissions and a portion of the fees generated by the protocol, exclusively when you stake your BLSK tokens.
